The Hungarian Civil Liberties Union submitted a Freedom of Information (FOI) request in January 2025. The Government responded that the “full implementation of the provisions of the anti-SLAPP Directive into national law will take place by May 7, 2026” event though not concrete step seem to have been taken so far.
