In the Republic of North Macedonia, only a workshop have been held (13-15 March 2025) on the topic of “Improving Media Regulation in North Macedonia – Harmonization with EU Norms,” organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies, and the Journalists Association of Macedonia. The workshop was attended by media professionals, lawyers, judges, decision-makers, and local and international experts to address key challenges and propose concrete solutions to strengthen media regulation in the country. Also prominent state representatives, including Stefan Andonovski – Minister of Digital Transformation of North Macedonia, Zoran Ljutkov – Minister of Culture and Tourism of North Macedonia, and Dayancho Eftimov – State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice were among the state representatives.
